Tyler Schueffner, LPC-IT
Clinical Psychotherapist

Tyler Schueffner (he/him/his) LPC-IT, brings a unique perspective to mental health counseling, shaped by his blue-collar upbringing and a deep respect for the wisdom of the body and soul. With over two decades of experience in social services (youth homelessness), Tyler’s journey as a mental health counselor is guided by his understanding of the struggles faced by the working class and those impacted by poverty, and environmental, and economic vulnerability.

Tyler’s professional focus is on providing mental wellness support to individuals in the blue-collar workforce, law enforcement, Veterans, emergency services, education, and social services. His theoretical approach is rooted in client-centered, humanistic, and existentialist perspectives, emphasizing the importance of storytelling, ancestral exploration, creativity, and authentic self-expression in finding meaning and purpose while enhancing identity and relationships.

As Tyler transitions into this new phase, he is particularly passionate about working with men and male-identifying individuals, offering guidance and support through the complexities of embodying healthy masculinity. Every life is a unique journey, an opportunity to explore, engage, and grow. Together we will create a safe and nurturing space for growth and transformation. With a foundation built on themes of forgiveness, respect, dignity, gratitude, accountability, and generosity, Tyler invites clients to embark on a journey, shedding old patterns and embracing the possibilities of growth, healing, and living a fulfilling life.
