Kaleb Nelson, LCSW
Clinical Psychotherapist

Therapy is a space that we build together. My role is to hold a container for you to explore, feel, process, and heal without judgment and yours is to show up and be open. Because these conversations are inherently vulnerable, I believe it’s crucial to ground our relationship in safety, trust, and permission. In sessions I bring warmth, compassion, and curiosity and adapt my approach to meet your individual needs. You know yourself the best and together we will find meanings and narratives that resonate with you.

As a queer and trans clinician I am passionate about working within these communities as well as with partners and family members. I have over 13 years of experience in various clinical settings with adolescents and adults. My approach to therapy is rooted in anti-oppressive practice, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction. I offer an eclectic style with a range of tools and perspectives, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Relational Theory, and Motivational Interviewing.

I am licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois.
