Before you begin: The ASRS uses two parts. Part A (6 items) is the primary clinical screener — 4 or more items above threshold is considered a positive screen. Part B (12 items) provides additional symptom information. ADHD in adults often looks different than childhood presentations, and is frequently missed in women, non-binary people, and autistic individuals. This is a screening tool, not a diagnosis.
