Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy

Therapy for autistic and ADHD adults that starts from the assumption that your brain works differently, not deficiently. This work does not use masking pressure, deficit framing, or homework designed for a neurotypical nervous system.

What neurodivergent-affirming therapy actually means

No pathologizing

Autism and ADHD are not disorders to be corrected. They are neurotypes with their own strengths, challenges, and ways of moving through the world. Therapy here works with your neurology, not against it.

No masking pressure

You do not have to perform neurotypicality in session. Stimming, direct communication, topic-switching, long silences: all of it is welcome. The goal is not to help you pass.

Late diagnosis is valid

Many autistic and ADHD adults were missed for decades. If you were diagnosed at 30, 40, or 50, or are still figuring out whether a diagnosis fits, that history is part of the work rather than a footnote.

Intersectionality matters

This practice is queer-owned and queer-affirming. Many neurodivergent adults are also LGBTQ+, and the overlap between those identities shapes how you experience the world and how therapy needs to work.
