LGBTQIA2S+ Resource Center
Wherever you're reaching this from, there's support closer than it might feel right now. This page pulls together the national databases doing this work well already — organized so you can move from "I need help right now" to "I need a longer-term resource" to "I want to know my state's specific legal landscape," without having to hunt.
If You Need Support Right Now
National Directories
These organizations maintain living, actively-updated databases — far more current than any static list I could keep up by hand. Each lets you search or select by state directly.
- OutCare Health — Community Resource DirectoryThe most comprehensive resource I've found: primary care, mental health, youth groups, shelters, support groups, and legal aid, organized by state. Select your state from the list.
- OutCare Health — OutList Provider DirectorySearch specifically for LGBTQ+ affirming healthcare providers near you.
- CenterLink — LGBTQ Community Center DirectoryFind your nearest LGBTQ+ community center; filter by state, city, or ZIP.
- Human Rights Campaign — Healthcare Equality IndexSearch evaluated, LGBTQ+-inclusive healthcare facilities nationwide.
- Lambda Legal Help DeskFree legal information and referrals on discrimination, family law, and identity documents.
- PFLAG Chapter FinderConnect with a local chapter for family and ally support.
- Movement Advancement Project — Equality MapsTracks 50+ LGBTQ-related laws and policies by state; useful if you want to understand your state's current legal landscape before you need it.
Your State's Legal Snapshot
I'm licensed to provide therapy in the states below. Each link goes directly to that state's current, continuously-updated policy profile from the Movement Advancement Project — nondiscrimination law, healthcare access, youth protections, identity document policy, and more.
This landscape shifts — sometimes quickly. These links pull MAP's live, current data rather than a snapshot I'd have to remember to update, so what you see reflects today, not whenever this page was last touched.

A Note on What This Page Is (and Isn't)
I didn't build this to replace the national organizations doing this work — I built it to put their work in one place, organized around the states I actually practice in. I don't administer, verify, or control any of the directories above, and availability of any individual provider or organization can't be guaranteed by me or by them.
If you'd like to talk with someone directly — about any of this, or about what support might look like for you specifically — I'd be glad to hear from you.
