Ok…. So my grandmother never had long hair and no one said she wasn’t “lady like.”
Hair is just hair..
It doesn’t equate to gender.

I get frustrated when I hear folx wanting me to or others have long hair or short hair, shave or not armpits, shave or not legs, express in ways that are thought of as typically feminine or masculine. I have so many friends that just don’t express what you’d expect a typical woman or man to do.
It’s just hair. It’s just clothing…. It’s just make-up. These are inanimate objects… How can these lifeless articles of clothing, protein strands, pigmented molecules gathered to create make up, be so gendered?

If I’m presenting High Femme… well that’s because I like the look that day. Not equating to my feminine energy… If I’m presenting masculine that day, that’s not equating to masculine energy.

Again… Inanimate objects.

Hair is not gender
Clothing is not gender
Your genital configuration is arguably not your gender (outside of medical models to treat illness where the data is relevant i.e. hormone structures, anatomical variances, etc.).
Make up is not gender.

At the end of the day, you are just StarDust, which for whatever reason is the only animal I’ve come across that actively hates itself. And in some cases in impressively artistic ways.
Maybe do what feels good and don’t worry about rest. There’s plenty of time for you to return to StarDust and let your rotting corporeal form nourish other living things so that they can actively hate themselves too.

Just chill babe…. Just chill…
