The scale measures the experience of sexual attraction — it does not determine whether you are asexual, and a score in any range does not override how you understand yourself. Asexuality exists on a spectrum; gray-asexuality, demisexuality, and fluctuating attraction patterns may not be fully captured by a binary cut-off.
