The AuDHD Sensory Workbook
The free quiz tells you your profile. This is what you do with it.
You took the free Sensory Profile Quiz and got your four-quadrant results, your spoon costs, your recovery window. The workbook is the deep version: a fillable PDF kit built specifically for Autistic and ADHD adults, because your profile is not a personality type. It is a set of instructions for a life that actually fits your nervous system — and for the people trying to love you well inside it.
What's inside
Four parts. One complete kit.
Part 1
The Situational Profile Quiz
Five real-life scenarios — the open office, the Saturday grocery run, the transition day, the party, the quiet evening after — each mapped openly to Dunn's four sensory quadrants, with a masking check first so you answer as your nervous system, not your public performance.
Part 2
The Channel Map
Seven fillable threshold worksheets across all eight senses — visual, auditory, tactile, taste and smell, proprioceptive, vestibular, and interoceptive — because AuDHD profiles are rarely uniform: auditory-avoidant and proprioceptive-seeking can be the same person on the same day.
Part 3
The Regulation Toolkit
Concrete accommodations matched to your dominant pattern, verbatim self-advocacy scripts for partners, bosses, and friends, and the three-zone escalation map for the days the plan fails — because it sometimes will, and that is neurology, not failure.
Part 4
Your Sensory Snapshot
The one-page rollup you actually hand to a partner, bring to therapy, or keep on the fridge. Spoon costs, restore list, recovery window, and the note for partners — all in one place.
Every page is fillable on your device — nothing to print, nothing stored anywhere but your own file.

Scenario 1: The Open Office.
It's 10 a.m. in an open-plan office. Two coworkers are chatting by the printer, the HVAC hums, the fluorescent light flickers faintly, and you have a report due at noon.
I'm bouncing my leg, chewing gum, maybe pacing to the kitchen and back. I actually focus better once I add my own motion to the room.
Headphones went on before I even sat down, or I booked the corner room. I've engineered my whole setup to keep the room out.
I hear every word of the printer conversation and the flicker sits in my peripheral vision constantly. I stay at my desk and push through — and by noon I'm fried.
Honestly, I didn't notice any of it — including my name being called twice.
…four more scenarios, seven channel maps, the toolkit, and your Snapshot inside.
A common question
I'm only ADHD — or I'm only autistic. Is this still for me?
Yes. The kit's spine is Dunn's model of sensory processing — a transdiagnostic occupational-therapy framework, not AuDHD-exclusive territory — which means it works as an adult autism sensory profile workbook and an ADHD sensory workbook in the same twelve pages. Autistic-only adults will find the predictability, masking, and recovery material fully at home. ADHD-only adults are heavily represented in the sensory-seeking and low-registration quadrants — if hunger, thirst, and fatigue routinely arrive late and enormous, Part 2 was written about your Tuesday. Every scale scores meaningfully for a single neurotype: a low score is a real coordinate on your map, not filler.

The workbook's Step 5 is built around the three-zone meltdown map. Read the companion essay first, or after — it covers the same ground in clinical depth.
When the Plan Fails: Meltdowns, Shutdowns & Real RecoveryThis workbook is an educational tool, not a clinical instrument. It is not diagnostic and does not replace assessment by a qualified clinician. Sensory sensitivity, predictability needs, and capacity vary by day and by context. The four-quadrant sensory structure used here reflects Dunn's Model of Sensory Processing (Dunn, 1997; 2014). Both editions are original educational resources with full citation of their clinical foundations. Neither is a diagnostic instrument, and neither reproduces any commercial assessment.
